Will it fit??

Hello all,
I'm looking for a engine for my 2005 MC250.

I found this engine and the seller states that it will fit a 2001-2005, slightly confused as I throught the 2005 was a "change" year, no??

Looks like an '05+ motor to me so you should be good. You are correct, the case design was changed in '05.

I can tell you that you will have to modify your frame if it's an 04 - 01 motor but only the bottom tab by the shifter.

I still have my 05 frame set up for an 04 motor if that's what you want to do let me know.
