Is 202psi normal?
Did a compression test on my 07 200, its done about 100 hours in total, and 80 on the top end (dont ask about that)
I was wondering if +200 psi is ok? Iv done the test about 8 times now, and every time its the same, and im using a good guage, which measures dads KTM as ~168psi and my 125 as ~178psi. Im not doing a wet compression test, where oil is put down the plug hole. It just seems like a ridiculously high compression? Thanks |

My '08 ec 250 measures at 191psi. I'd say it's probably right.

What base gaskets did you use on the rebuild? A reduction in thickness here will raise compression....

Barry, still running 2 base gaskets, the thin brown one and the green? one.
Starts easy, every time, runs well, was just curious really. |
