As far as I know, the fatty is exactly the same as the gnarly, but made of thinner steel.
Cant comment on the PC, theres the DEP to throw into the mix, but again I cant comment on its performance sorry.

The fatty is not the same as the Gnarly, I think some may be confused because you can use the same pipe gaurd on all fmf pipes for a given model. The header and part of the expansion chamber are shaped the same but the difference is from there back to the outlet.

On my KTM I prefer the pro circuit platinum 2 the most, then the KTM-FMF hardparts pipe which is very similar to a fatty.

I am waiting to see what FMF will offer or maybe see the EE-DEP pipe. If PC makes a platinum 2 that is what I will get.

I have the EE/DEP pipes enroute to my shop right now. If one comes in before Friday I will slap it on my 250 and try it this weekend in South Carolina.

Jeez! You must really like that Sumter event to drive across a third of the continent. Personally, next to the Alligator, it was my least favorite event of the 2010 Nationals.

PM me if you'd like to ride some nice single track on your way back north. We should be close to your trajectory.

I have the DEP system on my 300, and while its a nice pipe which seems to make good power everywhere its nowhere near as nice as the messico that i had on there before, that seemed to make nice crisp power everywhere...even though it was dented to hell, makes me think i ought to get it repaired and stick it back on!

OEM 07-> is good. In my opinnion it's better than Gnarly. I have gg pipe, FMF Q-stealth and lager powervalve cover. Works like a dream from iddle to top.

Gas Gas EC 300 Factory Racing 2012
- Ohlins TTX both front and rear
- Rekluse Core EXP 2.0 + Rekluse clutch basket
- Scalvini full exhaust system
- S3 Head
- Trusty adjustable PV cover

That was ultimate setup for me...
Now trying something else for a while...
