Thumbs up seat foam

Fishersaddlebags is the way to go. I had my 2011 widened to 8 inches and his foam installed. A 2 hour hare scramble and my 52 year old tush was fresh as ever.

Hey guys.....Heres the trick a couple AA riders have been doing that like to ride setting down - They remove all the stock padding and replace it with a couple inches of memory foam !!!

got mine put together and on the bike.. have not rode it yet, but it feels a ton better..

ee seat cover and guts standard height soft foam.. it says it is kdx soft.. i dont think it is that soft.. i was concerned with the foam in my hand it would be too soft, but assembled and on the bike i think it will be fine..

I have GUTS foam and cover on my 2010. It feels great but I don't know what model. I pm'd the owner and asked him if he remembers.

on a side note.. one of our honda riders fell and poked a hole in the ignition cover.. no jb weld, but one of the guys had a tire patch and some glue.. held fine all the way back to the truck..

I went with Fisher, great Company, great service, great product. Choose your width - you don't need it super wide, IMO. Make sure you figure in shipping costs as you look at price. Wish I had more time to post and give pictures!

http://shop.motoseat.com/GAS-GAS-SOL...D-TRACTION.htm

Hello Rick,

I can't tell from the Pics/description are these bolt on replacements or is it just a seat cover replacement? also on the pull down order menu it starts at 2007, what about the 2006 EC300 are they the same seat or different design so they won't work or will they?

Thanks,

Tim

Default SDG Seats

I sent my stock 2011 seat to SDG, and had a tall seat built on the pan. I have been very pleased with SDG seats. Tough, grippy covers, and water-proof foam.

I had been using their tall seat on my KLX450R, and told them to set my GG300 seat up the same. Two week turn-around.

I am 6' 3" with 35" inseam. Since I retired from the coal mine and shift work, I am down from 242 pounds, to 200 pounds, but the fairly hard foam is still comfortable. I do stand most of the time.

Steve
