Default Question about transformation kit

Does anyone notice a difference in seat height or handling after installing the transformation kit? I have an 05 EC250 that currently fits me very well. I've always felt that previous bikes (KTM's and Jap bikes) where too big for me (I'm 5'7"). This GG is feels perfect. I was thinking of installing the newer plastics/subframe from a 2011 but don't want to sacrifice the feel bike.

I did the transformation on my 06 200 a couple of years ago. I don't remember noticing a height difference (which does not mean there isn't one). However what I do remember is that the bike felt narrower at the front and easier to ride after the swap.

Thanks, that is good to hear.

Did you buy a silencer from a 2011? Does that silencer fit up to the 2006 pipe?

No, I still used the 2006 Fmf Gnarly and 2006 OEM silencer. Had to fabricate a spacer though.

I feel the transformation kit has a slightly higher seating position (pegs to seat top) then when I ride my buddies 03' DE200. I have taller 608? KTM bars too and it fits me well (for my liking) at 6'1".
