Default Missouri rider, No GasGas

I too am a new member who doesn't own a Gas Gas or is it Gasgas?

A friend of mine, Roger from Illinois, has had a GasGas for some time, I think a 250. We are both older riders.

My current offroad bike is a Honda xr400. I am also an original owner of Yamaha RD350 and RZ350s which I have rebuilt and are in decent road condition. I start them once in a while but don't have much interest in road riding and am not wanting to go road racing any more. I had an RM250 back in the day. I would really like something modern and two stroke. I can't fault the xr for what it is.

Most of my riding is in the "woods" and pastures on my farm. Although I havent't, eventually I would like to do some off road events.

woods,

I got my first gas gas a few months ago. Can say I'm really enjoying it. I've had a few bikes over the years and its one of the best I've had. I ride woods and an enduro once in a while. My last two 4 strokes were a YZ250F and a DR350 with a big bore kit (yes, I did ride the DR in an enduro, ugh). I like the 4 stroke for climbing hills but the 2 stroke to me is just a whole lot more fun to ride, also feels lighter than a 4 stroke and a whole lot easier to start. Don't think you can go wrong with a Gas GAS. Parts are harder to find but they're out there. I believe its Gas Gas but I use gasgas when searching the net.

Good luck with your search.

There are plenty of used bikes here in the classifieds. Give one of these a shot.

Hello welcome! I'm from the STL area and just got a brand new 2012 ec300r last jan. I love it, does really well in our loose rocky/rooty stuff. There is a dealer in in Marthasville, Motorcycles and More. May be a to far from you, but they are a pleasant shop.
