Changing the gear selector shaft oil seal
Now then guys, the oil seal on the gear selector on my EC250 has started to drip, I want to change it, I'm hoping its a simple operation, take the gear selector off, and pull the old one out.... Or is it the complicated option, clutch basket off, left engine case off, spindle out and new seal in. Or is it the case of a full strip down.

You should be able to take the gear shifter off and then pick the seal out and simple install the new one back over the shaft. Makes sense in theory. The seal was a press fit from the outside to install.

That's what I thought, it would make sense for something that needs replacing with wear and tare to be a sample fit.
Thanks for the advice
