Default Radiator Shroud Bolt - '03 GasGas EC200

Hey Guys,

The bolt near the bottom of my radiator shroud that holds the shroud to the radiator has pretty much seized in the nut. When i turn the socket to undo it the nut in the little black bit behind the radiatorspins as well. I can hear clunking as i turn it.

I will know be lubing the bolt when i get a new one because on the GasGas australia site it says to do this because this seems to be a common problem.

Is there anyway i can get it out with out having to drill it out. If there isn't ill just bite the bullet and get the drill.

If im not clear enough in my explanation i'll get some pictures but basically the bolt has seized in the nut and the nut is now moving as well if enough force is applied.

Thanks for your help.

Yep, I had the same problem. The tab that creates the stop point breaks off or bends. I managed to reach through with a pair of long needle nose pliers, secured the piece from moving and backed out the bolt. Good Luck, jg.
