Default 2012 EC300 Brake Rotor - Where to get?

Seems I have a tweaked front brake rotor.

I looked at GoFasters and the GasGas parts diagram...GasGas smoking crack if they think their rotor is worth $306...LOL

So what brand to use? And more importantly where do I buy it from?

Thank you....

One think I like about my Honda XR650R type in part in Google and you have 20 companies making a part. One part about GasGas I'm not fond of.

Just gotta let it go that the other companies have more aftermarket support... Most guys who ride GasGas probably first bought one so they could be different. Then fell in love with the handling and motor characteristics. Moose Racing makes rotors, Galfer, EBC. Talk to your dealer, they are good at finding parts to fit.

It appears that a front rotor is the same as all the other front rotors 01+ to current. Part number ends in 2509 leading me to believe it's the same rotor beginning in 09 for that style. And prior to 09, the front rotor fits down to 01.

The rotors from my 97' work on later bikes(12) so gasgas hasnt changed that, which is a nice thing.

I have used the Moose brand rotors and they work very well.

I'll probably ride with it tweaked I did not notice it much someone else did. Heck pads are cheap....and a new one will get tweaked with what I ride.

Just looking to get ideas, and I know who makes rotors that is not an issue but I refuse to pay $150 for a piece of metal that cost $10 to make. I see from one maker our rears are the same as KTM's...not sure if true but if so a rear is like $34. A front does not cost anymore to make.

Anyways I just thought some here had good leads and where to find the lowest prices.

So far StuJohnson won that award...$100 is much more doable.

Nice find, it looks like they only make that rotor for the front, they list a few for the rear but they crossover to the older KTM.

Companies can't sell parts for what the material costs alone. There is material, labor, distribution, etc., etc., that all goes into getting a part into your hands. If you buy an "exotic" bike, higher part prices is part of the bargain unfortunately. Price BMW parts sometime. I own 2 GasGas's and a BMW. I am broke all the time .

I don't know I would call BMW exotic, at over 100,000 units a year they're pretty mainstream and still over priced.
