Default I visited Moto Center in Mesa, Arizona

I headed out to Mesa, Arizona to visit Moto Center on Southern Avenue. They are a dedicated Gas Gas dealer, and they are all-in for the Kayaba-suspended Red Spanish Lady.

The shop is clean and well-stocked. And by that I mean spotless and wall-to-wall product. Lots of accessories, parts, boots, helmets, Lectron carbies...

Before you ask, any future moto purchase depends on the relative success of an impending back surgery. I could go race bike (GG XC300) or play bike (modified X-Trainer) with the stroke of a laser scalpel.

Not sure why the pics flip from time to time.

Hopefully all goes well with the surgery, Rick, and you're back riding in no time. Remember, you need to race just so you can whoop up on Beers' butt!

Mr. Beers is a prime motivator.

But I will likely move down to C-Class, so I?ll need to find another muse.

RBRider, isn?t it nice that I have a choice beyond Orange?

Heck, if KTM hadn?t discontinued the 4T XC-W line, I would have gotten a 2018 KTM 350XCF-W, and had been done with it. But their shift to a choked and lean EXC-F changed the landscape. The local KTM is beside himself as his loyal XCF-W customers experiment with other colors.

A friend has had a plated 350 XCW and has been quite happy with it. I test rode one when they first came out & really liked it. I didn't know the 350 XCW had been discontinued.

But, for now, I'm happy with my plated '06 EXC 450 for dual sport and the XC 200 GG for off road.

At this stage of my life, I've got two requirements for any new dirt bike I may buy. Light weight & ability to get a plate.

A new GG EC 250 without the (infamous)off road use only stamp on the MSO would probably do nicely.

Worse. KTM discontinued the entire 4-stroke XCF-W line.

Only EXCFs are imported and they come with their ECUs locked and exhaust restricted. It takes a $700 Vortex plug-in device to increase fuel flow so it doesn?t run lean (and hot). Then more for exhaust mods.
