Interesting reading. I have ridden a 250f and 450f with Rev-Loc's (over 2 years ago) and came away underwhelmed (funny clutch feel, too much slippage, scary on steep downhills). Maybe I had better try one of the newer models.

the lhrb is almost worth it in itself.
kinda scary if you remove the pedal, and then go looking for it though.

I am contemplating installing a EXP in my new E start 300.

I have never had one on any of my bikes, but I have seen the advantage work for guys who race. Their corner speed and the effortless starting of the bike in gear has helped them a bunch.

The biggest hurdle is the cost. I may need to take a second on the house.

Paul (PEB)would then be able to flip me S!&#%T about my clutch and E start. But I still won't be running a trials tire. 2 for 3 ain't bad.
Put one in so i can sell it when i buy your '11.

I just bought a lightly used 12 ec250 race, it came with a recluse... At first, I didn't like it, kinda made me feel like less of a man. I felt like I was cheating. But after about 10 rides now, I love it. I've embraced it and just enjoy the ride.

i do have the exp 2.0 on my gg ec300 and do love it! the main reason i got i was for enduros, when i stack the bike,i can pick it up and away i go or stuck in very muddy conditions it is very useful and save loads of energy . i do still tend to use the lever and only really use the rekluse as a back up rather then foget about my clutch control

leeroy,
same here, I still ride like a have a standard clutch. When I hop on someone elses bike, I don't notice that much. I rode the '13 for months without it, called to cancel the order and it had already shipped so I put it on. There is a slight lag, so timing is not so natural when going over a log, I have, ummm, mistimed and had an unexpected change in momentum...

I had one in my kx250 and swore that i would fit one on every bike I ever have, then I got a GG and with the light clutch and strong chugging power I decided it didn't need it.

I am not a competative racer, but if I was I would consider one again as it does come into play when you make a mistake with gear selection, stalling etc but for social riding I am happy with GG and also happy developing my clutch control

I do not believe they are just for those with poor clutch control

I'm with Matt on this one. The pull is so easy compared to other cable pull bikes I don't feel the need for one. I'm a recreational rider and enjoy the full manual clutch and will leave the auto clutches to my Honda mini bikes and ATC's.
