I love my GASGAS fse400. Like a relationship with an attractive woman there has been some stress from time to time, but get back in the saddle and it's all good again!
I love the being different to all the other red/blue/orange bikes that all those small minded dull copycats out there buy.
I love owning the only one in town
I love it's feeling of refinement and style. After getting off it and onto say a wr it's like getting out of a ferrari and into a russian tractor.
I love the way everyone checks it out and say"GASGAS eh, so who makes it?"
I love the way it eats hills.
I just love it!

Yes I like the eyebrow lift with the can't take their eyes of it look you get.
And then you have the guys that have heard about them and can't believe their eyes they are looking at one(Sort of like a supermodel for them).

i love my gasgas...

because they all think its a trials bike...
because they all make fun of the 3 different colours...
because they say, screw the boyesen valve... we run vforce...
because they say ,... Messico is a country & Pro Circuit makes pipes..

i hate my gasgas...

when my messico starts to scream... and the boys had to bite roost..
when i take the inner line and grab the holeshot....
when i had to shut the throttle after holding it wide open on 5th gear..
when the dealer closed down...........

who cares.... somebody is smart enough to come up with paypal.... i'll mailorder my stuff...

many thanks to Rick THompson aka gasgasrick..

Talking

I love my Gasser because, My mate asked me if it was a cheap chinese import bike. He seriously retracted that comment after sitting his ass in the pilot seat and going for a ride......

I realy like my 2006 300MC gasser due the torque and smooth power

After 1.5 years and aprox 130 hours of racing it has been bullet proof
( Boysen reed valves broke down, a flat rear tire and a broken hourmeter was all but that hapens to everybody I guess)

I ride 50 hours with one piston and than the compression is still the same

The crankshaft bearings arnt worn out at all after all that time.

The cilinder still looks the same and hasn't worn out

The GasGas Importer of The Netherlands and Germany is only 10 miles away.

I have worked a couple of days at the GasGas Importer (oerlemans) and i have seen the bikes inside and outside and it looks great!

The enduro bikes are getting more and more populaur

I bought mine for only 2750euro and 7 hours before the engine was comletely rebuild (it used to be an International MX1 bike!) so it came with all the mods wich I all love:
Reiger suspension (50mm forks)
HGS exhaust, front and back
VHM cilinder head
Long radiators
Black excel rims
Axel puller on the front
Red details ( clutch and frontbrake covers and some more)
Reikon handlebars (with spacers)
Twin air kit.
Galfer discbreaks
Credature Sprockets
Holeshot starting System

Downsides:

Compared to a '03 Honda cr250r it is not very user friendly (especialy when taking off the subframe)

Every time I crash my handlebars get out of position and I have to bang it straight againt a tree or have to take the front end out ( the clamp bolts are Allen-screws and I think the normal bolt are alot better and more relieable)

Compared to a Honda the shiftergear mounting is real crappy (it came off 2 times and I had to veil out the space where it clamps but now is OK again)

Sometimes the carburetor starts overflowing(the floater gets stuck) but that aint no GasGas broblem but a Keihan one (and yes I have cleaned my tank and carburator multiple times)

She likes to climb out of ruts... or it's just me, not skilled enough to keep it in there

The frame is green... thank god the later models have black frames

She is way more thirsty compared to all the 250 2-strokes and I know it has 50cc more but does that matter so much?

My English isnt perfect as you might have noticed

I still love my Gasser though

Default I have an EC200 and FSE450

There is more sweat and blood in those bikes then gas and oil that I have ran through them. Not in the literal sense but I have had to wrench on the 4 stroke and well not so much on the 200. Either way the handling and look on peoples faces is priceless. After reading this post I might put Honda stickers so that when I run from the Cops they will be looking for a 450R or 650R. This is another reason why I like GG: I'm just in awe!

I love mine because:

It looks the tits.
It goes like sh*t off a stick.
It's surprisingly easy to work on.
It's different.
The sound! With my modded exhaust, I haven't heard another stroker come close!
The acceleration.
The fact I annoy pretty much all of my Harley-riding mates when I keep up/pass them in the twisties. (I got the '02 250 supermoto)
The admiring stares I get.
The handling.
The reliability. Only have to do rings every 2000 miles and everything else has been fine. Except that exhaust bracket under the tank. Now made my 3rd reincarnation of it!
The fact it starts 1st/2nd kick come Hell or high water pretty much every time.
The grin factor.

I love my gas gas cos its the first one i have owned! Before when i had a husky i had nothing to do but now when i am not riding it i am fixing it ( it is a 98 EC250 ) bit old you know.
Man the money i have spent on it i could have bought a new one or nearly.

Im not dishin the dirt on the gg cos its a fantastic bike best one i have ridden
people look at it and ask what it is when i say its a gg people go wow as if its some ancient artifact or somin.

I keep toyin with the idea of buyin a new one but could i ride it any better than mine if i did? i dont think so.

Keep the flag flyin.
