Default 2017 Air filter

New to this whole red bike thing... Does anyone know if there are air filters for other brands that will cross reference with a 2017 EC 250? I didn't see anything when I searched.

Thanks!

Default Air filters

Cr's are close but If it were me try the funnel web or just stick with the Twin air which can be purchased on their web site. I highly recommend the Twin air filter cage as well.

Default Not all foam filters are equal!

Just a point that may be of interest...

When I purchased my used 2004 EC300 it was fitted with some unknown brand foam air filter. I'd washed it and oiled it a few times and it seemed OK, but just OK, the fit didn't feel that snug.

Yesterday I fitted a new Twinair foam filter, part number 158056. There is a big difference, it really feels much better quality and it's a real tight, snug fit. I don't feel worried there might be a gap where dirt could get in.

From now on I'll only he buying Twinair foam filters.

By the way, I'm still using the stock GasGas plastic frame/cage.

All the best, Dave.

just to add here, there has always been an issue fitting the filter onto the bike, make sure that it is properly sealed all around, especially at the bottom. once you know how to do it there are no issues, but if you get it wrong you will be sucking a lot of dirt in
