FMF pipe
My OEM pipe got all bent up from trail trash.
So, I put a new FMF pipe on the bike. Big thumbs down. The pipe drops down well below the bike's frame. Logs that I would normally clear, I would get hung up on them. Power wise-mid range increased a bit. Ran well every where else. ps: wanted OEM GasGas pipe. |

Kevin Hines at Eline explained to me once that FMF has a set of cone stampings that they use for all the pipes made. So, the volumes and dimensions can be made correct by selecting the right parts but the position and fit might not be optimal, as its not a true custom fit pipe. This is why sometimes you can get a pipe guard from a completely different bike to fit. Its also why the pipe is a lot cheaper as there is no special tooling needed.

The DEP armored nickel pipe kicks ass. Nice increase in mid/top without losing any off the bottom. I liked how the bike would pull a gear a lot longer without the power going flat.

How's the DEP ground clearance compared to the stock pipe?
