Default Fuel range and fuel light

What kind of mile range can one expect out of a stock tank of gas on a 450 FSE?

And when the fuel light comes on how much gas is remaining in the tank?

My experiance with mileage is 40-45 miles on stock tank. I've never seen the light come on.

Thanks Nick!

I was hoping it was better than that. I got 18 miles yesterday from .8 gallons in a hare scrambles yesterday. But I would say I was riding a lot more than racing.

I found the link above, I guess I'll have to go the aftermarket route. I was hoping for 60 miles out of a tank.

I can only get 80kms(50 miles) in tight going. But on fire roads I can get over 120kms (74.5 miles)

that sounds pretty similar to the '06 450 that we ride with. He can usually get about 50-60 clicks out of a full tank in the tight stuff and a bit more in the open. We're lucky because we have a mixture of open and tight

I usually get 3-3½ hours out of my '05 FSE tank. Never been on a long stretch of road though, only enduro riding.
