It isn't everyday that a World MX Champion walks up to you and asks to borrow your loading ramp. None other than Trampas Parker did that to me today. Pretty cool. He also had NO handguards at all on his bike. He often shows up in La. for races. I think he has a lake house somewhere in East Oklahoma.
Nice to meet you as well. Yes Trampas has a home in Okmulgee, I've been to his place in LA as well. He is a nice guy

I didn't have a clean ride. I got hung up in a pot hole and some roots. Lost 3 mins. Fell back down in that creek with the slick hill climb coming out of it. I really made a mess of that creek crossing. So that nasty transfer section really took it out of me.

I also had the kick starter continously fold out while getting on the throttle. My boot would get caught in it as I was reaching for the rear brake. I couldn't reach it. I'm lucky because I blew through several corners and got away with it. I was so cursing that thing yesterday. I tried tightening it to no avail. It's very loose.

That helps explain my 10th place, after looking at the photo stream it appears I was following the guy in front of me :-( Lesson learned...
