Shims to spare...
Hi!
I had the linkage, swing and shock off the bike (2005 EC300) yesterday (talk about building something really complex where it doesn't need to be, none of the previous bikes have been as fiddly as this one)... I found a couple of flanged shims on the floor after I was done - and can't really find any place for them, perhaps at the shock clevis...? Shock is out for service/rebuild and an upgrade, so I can't verify my suspisions yet. See the enclosed image... Rgds /J

Those are for the lower shock mount in the main rocker, they compress and seal on the orings. Convex side out.
The GG frame/linkage design is very much like a Kawasaki KX of a few years ago. |
