first enduro vid...

here is some hc video from the enduro i ran last weekend.. this is not me, but a friends son who i took with me.. he is 19 on a 99 200 gasser and has gotten to be a pretty good rider.. a 13 300 gasser passes him at about 11:00 he catches me at about the 19:00 mark, he started one row one minute behind me.. fast kid... his camera is pointed down to much.. sorry.. this was a 16 mile test section..

the dirt was awesome.. this place got a foot of snow one week before .. i had 2 little get offs.. one into a tree and off in a gully.. lost about 15 minutes there.. i entered the 50 + class, finished next to last of the guys that finished.. if you do all the age groups i was 37th out of 52...
not too great, but i was trying to stay out of the way alot.. got overheated in one section and had to stop also and take off a layer..

the excursion in the gully was cute... lookd back for the guy on the gasser... clipped a tree, ripped a fastway handguard off, into a hole just wider than the bike is long... over the bars... had to stand the bike up, turn it around, ride thru a tree and crash to get out.. spent alot of energy at about mile 40..

i had a blast.. was not too tired when done.. sore for 2 or 3 days only.. i learned that mc as a 300 is a handful in that type of race for sure..

no go for me this weekend.. i am gonna try to make 2 or 3 a year.. that will probably be one of them... next year..

we are supposed to get snow again saturday.. that is about 200 miles south of here so who knows..

Weather channel shows Blackwell with 84 on Saturday & 62 on Sunday, I hope to heck they're right and the snow stays north.....

looks like that was a nice ride!!.. The camera was a little low but still was enjoyable enough to tell what kind of ride it was.

we started on the grand prix track and it was rough.. a guy right in front of him crashed and he landed on him.. the angle on the camera changed right there... it was a fun race for sure..

they keep changing ours every day... last night both days saturday and sunday are in the 40's... you guys should be fine.. when we left the line on this race it was in the 30's and 30 mph wind.. i had to many layers and actually got hot riding..
i think that will be pretty rough terrain.. my grand parents lived in sweetwater and it was..
