2018 starter - oem vs replacement

Parts from now on for the enduro range of gas gas are down from their orders platform. (I am the service point for the importer here in Greece)
Rieju is stepping on their shoes and they seem more than willing to continue selling parts for the gassers. (They just need some time)
I know because I have a lot of back ordered parts.
As for the starter motor this has happened to me as well with the second kit I had ordered for a client on his 300 2009. The motor came in the box and when I opened it and mount it on the bike, it was spinning the other way and when I opened it to change the direction I found out that it was used.
I also checked the first kit that I had installed on a 300 2006 and it was ok( brand new)
From what I can understand from orders I 've made the last years is that from 2016 and on (first financial breakdown) parts especially for older models where sourced from wherever they could find them,if they could find them.

Hi Jose, welcome to the forum.
For us it is good to have someone from Spain here because you will probably get news about GasGas/Rieju first.

I am in Austria an we have spare parts problems as well. I order most parts from Germany, they have quite a lot of parts in stock but unfortunately not all parts. So I hope I can buy from Rieju at the end of the year. We will see...
