can a E-start be put on a 2000 model 300EC ? im sure everything could fit apart from the fly wheel would the E-start work on mine or would i have to change the fly wheel

No, it won't fit.
Your ignition cover is totally different.

ah ok cheers, thought id ask as i seen someone was selling a complete E-start kit
