Marzocchi Shiver 45mm Fork Seals
I need to replace one (or maybe both) of the fork seals on my 2011 EC250 with the Marzocchi 45mm forks. Doing some searching around, the most common recommendation was to call up Synergy Seals and get a set from them.
Well, called them on like January 3rd, and was told that as of January 1st, they were no longer in business. That's my kinda luck. So, with Synergy out of the picture, what's the go-to these days? I've heard a lot about SKF, but they're fairly pricey. I don't mind spending more if it's truly a better product, just wanted to make sure it's the best option. And besides, buying OEM seals through GG is more expensive than SKF anyway. And if I do go SKF, is this what I need to go with? -https://www.amazon.com/SKF-KITG-45M-.../dp/B071L5MFFM or -https://enduroeng.com/index.php?rout...roduct_id=4211 I've read something about a standard duty and a heavy duty? Should I be looking for the HD ones? I haven't seen an HD one for the 45mm yet, but I may not be looking in the right place. Thanks! |

I would choose the HD seals as the SKF low stiction seals seem to crap out a lot quicker. Find the part number you need and shop around. I think you should be able to get a set for under $60.
