Default 2012 footpegs

Does anyone know if the 2012 models can still use aftermarket footpegs for a YZ250? I'm ready to order some parts.

I am in the same boat. I used the moose hybrid 1/2 offsets for the YZ250 on my 2011. Will try the same on the 12.

The 2012 footpeg clevis has a 30mm span - the pivot pin is 10mm. A quick visual of the right side peg reveals that the clearance cut-away to the brake pedal is gone (naturally). My money is on the older Fastway and Moose hybrids bolting on, but I haven't tried it yet.

Unfortunately the fiche won't tell you much - there's a new part number for the assembly ... but both sides have the same number.

Hope so, I'd like to swap the Pivot Pegs from my '07 over.

Just went out into the shed and had a look.I had the yz pivot pegs off of the 07 and matched them against the new 12. I reckon( without actually putting them on ), that they will fit.
The pin is ok, width is good and they seem like they will sit correctly.
I would say you can use them guys.....
Cheers Mark

Hey, I had enough trouble convincing the wife I needed it so I don't want to push it.
If I was a single bloke it would live in the loungeroom next to the beer fridge.
Cheers Mark

My neighbor's new '12 Ducati Monster 1100 is in his living room. Yeah he is single. I'll try and get a pic.

Just picked up my 12 trying to make this thing bigger. Have run Fastway pegs in the low position on my 525, but thinking of trying the pivot pegs. How to tall guys like pivot pegs?
