Apparently the promoto one listed for Gas Gas is for a circular section can.

The PROMOTO fits an ARROW exhaust.

Unhappy

Most of the Pro Moto caps (except the GasGas/Arrow one) look as though they just screw onto the end of the can, pretty much just like the end cap on the "Q". I don't blame Pro Moto for not making a special version from billet for a group our size but if they provided the spacing measurements it would seem that one of the existing ones could be fitted, perhaps with some modification to the can. I wish I knew much (anything?) about muffler design. Still don't understand how you can have a 20mm +/- open hole and qualify as a spark arrestor. Maybe one of those aftermarket H-D baffles could be welded to the inside of my "spare" FMF turndown.

The hole size doesnt matter on the Promoto endcaps as they use a screen. And your right about not enough quantities. I'm having endcaps made for the 06-08 mufflers at a different place and had to buy a minimum of ten and the pricing they give reflects quantity. I couldnt justify a lot of them just as they cant.

Unhappy Pro Moto not an option

Got my answer from them the other day (unlike FMF they DID answer) but unfortunately they say that none of their products will fit an FMF can. Back to the drawing board. Among my hopes was that the FMF Q that came on so many FSEs was a "standard" model i.e. made for something that came out in larger quantities and that I could try one of their newer versions (made for that same ????) but without an answer from them as to what they sold the importer/distributor/? it isn't easy to find a newer one.
