Default Want to ask about a 450

Thinking about this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other...#ht_500wt_1182

What can you tell me...this is the last year for the 450fse right?
I am looking at Husaberg 450s as well...2010 and 2011. What differences might I see? What are the pros of a GasGas over a Husaberg or Husqvarna?

I just sold my 06 WR450 and I am looking to get into fuel injection...mostly single track and woods riding. Looking to do some hare scrambles. I am C+ rider at best. 6'4" 225lbs.

I know there are some aftermarket parts...main thing I would ask is about fuel tank and exhaust...what are the options.

Does this bike look like a good deal. Any known issues with the last of the 450s??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks fine to me if you like 4 srtokes.A bigger tank is availible, exhaust is fine standard. My 06 is still going hard with only normal service items done.
The burg is worth alook at though.
They are small for a 4fiddy compared to your wr.You'll need a tall seat and bar risers for your size.Price? I dunno.

Call Mark @ GoFasters, he has a brand new 450 Holdover. I forget what year, but it is the newest version of the motor.

I sent them an email...don't have enough time to call between patients right now. Thanks for the heads up.

Can someone experienced with the late FSE bikes give me a quick pros and cons list of owning a GG.

I mean dealer and parts I get it....I have to order....not a problem. Outside of that...pros and cons. Likes and dislikes.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 2010 450, Absolutely luv it. Sleek, flickable, and 54hp.

I can't really think of any cons...ok, get the flywheel weight with it.

All my ridin buddies are down sizing to smaller lighter 2 strokes...sometimes i think I'd trade it for a 2010 ec 300, but I honestly can't imagine giving up this bike yet.

I think there is only like 6 of them in the country or something (mine is serial number 0000001). I really can't understand why they stopped making this model.

Who makes the bigger tank for it? Not Clark. (I have a Clark on my '05, but they don't make one for the '10)

I am quite sure they do, if not, you can special order them with the fuel pump cutout.
