CDI? No spark

Hi,

I have a EC300 2001 model

I am not getting any spark when I kick it over. I had the stator tested and this was not giving correct output so had it rewound. Put the stator back on but still no spark HD lead is good, coils good.

Any ideas on what to check next or do I put a new CDI on the bike? if I need a new CDI could you recommend where to get one second hand.

Also could you guys point me in the right direction to where I can get a wiring diagram for my bike.

there is a huge thread on this same question only 3 posts below yours. Check it out.
I have a generic wiring diagram in my photos that you can search, it's very clear. There are also many other excellent schematics floating around on this site. Search "diagram" or "schematic" in this forum and you can try (to search) the General forum as well.

MI'M having the same problem on my ec 250 sm iv purchased
1x new stator
2x second hand stators
1x pick up
1x cdi
1x new coil
1x HT lead
1x suppressor cap
10x spark plugs yes 10!

My bike when it was working was running for 15 mins then the plug would just foul iv tried every thing again and agin with no joy hope you get it working bud

Break in wire in CDI harness, likely near subframe pivot area.

Hmmm I'll have to check that next time i'm in the gararge I'm really sick obj sorry for thread jacking lol but hope it may help you as well thanks for the info
