What fixed your bike when power went very flat somewhere in the PB?
Here's my final piece, although there where a few that helped.


No power past mid-range and the packing was soaked.

Worn out float pin tower hole. The float moved sideways from vibration.

Muffler internal tube broken causing resrtiction.

Two years of packing changes. Thought all was good, then during some rides I noticed a lack of bottom and top. I figured the packing needed changing. It was looking pretty fresh, but I had two inches of old, dense packing blocking the hole into the silencer. A half hour with various implements and it was all clean and ready to rip.
