Default battery dies out
'07 450 fsr battery good,stator good.Battery will not charge while bike is running.
Anybody have any ideas

Well I would say that a 5 year old bike battery has definately been past it's peak..but thats only my opinion. I could be wrong.

I'd buy a new battery to rule out further problems a prime battery will produce a prime spark, sounds to me that the charging system (stator & rotor = alternator) is malfunctioning.

You need to get the stator/rotor tested to make sure everything thing is working correctly

dead rec/reg or dirty plugs that run to it are pretty common faults.

Thats what i waz thinking it was,maby in the woods ec250,but on the road fsr450motard keep dreamen.
