Question '07 leftover question

For the benefit of the people looking for an '07, does anyone know if Dixie had remaining stock, and if those bikes were sold to GasGas USA?

Default Bikes at dixie

As of Dec 1st Dixie only had either 9 or 11 2007 EC200's that they were trying to sell yet. GasGas USA's 2008 bikes are coming directly from Spain and the first container of half enduro bikes, half trials bikes are in a Kansas warehouse right now being distributed.

When will we know what the MSO/Title will say on the 08 bikes as far as the "for off road use only" designation which I'm sure most don't want to see?

Mark,

So how does this work now. A dealer can still order an '07 200 leftover from Dixie and a new '08 from GGUSA? I guess Dixie owns the bikes and can sell them as they wish, either direct or through dealers. Am I correct?

Dixie wants too much money for their remaining 200s.

I made them an offer on 3 of them and we were a long ways apart.

What could a leftover 07 200 be had for? Any ideas?

Since you can get an '08 KTM 200XC for $5,200, I'd guess the '07 GG would have to priced a bit lower. IIRC, a shop had one on fleabay with a starting price of ~$4,500 and a buy it now of ~$5,050 and didn't get a bid.

I guess this answers how Dixie is going to handle their Gas Gas inventory.

I was up in NC last week collecting their 06 "demo" 450 and I got the impression they really want to move their stock. They said that if they didnt sell that Gas Gas would take them back which seems a strange statement to me. There are also some 125s left over. A good starting point would be Mike Goad.
