Pipes and Jetting
This may be a dumb question for all you technically saavy guys out there... I bought my 2004 EC 300 from the original owner who had installed an FMF Gnarly Gold Series pipe... I also got the original GG pipe...
When my Gnarly pipe became sufficiently dented and dinged , I sent it off to be repaired and installed the GG pipe... I immediately noticed alot of piston pinging at higher rpms and it seems to be running hotter also... really lean apparently... Does this have to do with the jetting?... I remember reading somewhere that when you change pipes, you often have to re-jet... is this the case for my situation?? Thanks guys!
