Default need pics of kickstand

got my new used kickstand in today and something is not panning out with it, some already installed pics would be a big help.

Mine looks the exact same way and doesn't seem
to case a problem except that it juts the # plate when retracting, I've seen some pics of them folding up completely outside the sidecover too. Maybe your and mine are bent a bit in.... As I said it appears to cause no issues and doesn't hang on my leg when stretching back
on the bike

Mine does the same. You can bend the side plate screw tab on the subframe out the pull the side cover out a little. It will get knocked back in after a crash ot two so you need to keep an eye on it.

thanks for the replies, I like the way it tucks behind plate so I'll go with it like it is, it doesn't contact the plate going up or down and I assume the stand will not stay in down position on its own by design.

This is how you fix the auto-retracting feature.
