Will a slide from an AS1 work in an AS2 carb?

GMP says yes! Same slides, although his findings were that the AS1 carbs don't like the notched slides. Shouldn't matter if you're going the other way. I use a #7 non notched in my AS2.

I have used notched and non notched slide in both the AS1 and AS2 no problem.

Cool. I have an extra AS1 with a non notched 7 slide and am going to try that in my '12 with AS2. I have another local rider on a 12 that says it cleaned the midrange on his bike up very nicely.

Using this setup on a 250 I have found the W diameter needles and a 40 pilot to work best. On the 300 J and 42. Thats on Australian 98 RON fuels though with temps from 15C-35C and all sorts of humidity. Sea level to around 1000M.
