Default Orientation of oem lowering links?

I am having a bugger of a job getting the original linkage off due to being seized solid..
Anyway, I have a pair of oem lowering linkages. Does anyone know the correct way to fit them.. They are an odd bendy shape.. . Pic to follow.. When I work out how to add a piv..

The old one is at the top as it came off the bike... Left side... top is top.. Not sure which way round to fit the new one. Anyone know?

Made an educated guess and the bike is nearly an inch lower... Paradise...
