Seat has cracked at the back - is this common?
The plastic frame has cracked on my seat in fact the aluminium support for the bolt has come away with te plastic on one side, on both sides there is a 4-6" crack running up the length of the seat.
Is this a common failure? I'm thinking my best bet is another seat off fleebay - will all years fit?

It's very common on our older models. Sorry but i'm not sure of the interchange years. Something like '01 to '05??

Mine is an 05. So If I get a later seat I should be OK?

What year did the subframe change? 2007? I think only up to then.

I still need to fix this but am struggling to find a seat off ebay to buy.
Will the 450ec seat fit from the same time range (01-07 maybe)

I have a 450 seat base you can have for $25.00 Canadian plus shipping. I also have an 05 2-stroke seat base that one of the mounting tabs broke off but the plastic is not broken.

This is common on the older bikes.Get a plastic welding guru to patch it up whle you find a replacement.05 and 06 are the same.A 4t will fit a 2t but not the other way.Look for part outs.
