if my gas gas ec250 engine was to go bang, pistons or whatever?? could i then get it bored out to a 300cc, and roughly how much will it cost,

Do a search on this site.
There are several posts on the subject.
I don't think you can bore out the 250 cylinder to a 300. The power valve may hit the piston.

I think you can bore it to make a 275 (better confirm though).

To go 300 you will need a new jug
My dealer just quoted almost a grand for jug, piston & gaskets
