Default Take out spark arrester for FMF PCII? PV breather + Silencer lengths

Hi, i have a 2001 GG EC250 SM, it has a FMF Powercore 2 with the spark arrester, i do not need the spark arrester as i use the bike on the road in the UK, i understand its just two plates in the silencer i havnt inspected it yet, but i would like to take the spark arrester out to have a more free flowing silencer (looking for mid/top end pull) would this be possible? and how would you do it

Also my LH (lower) PV breather has a bolt at the end of it to stop excess water/grime come out the bike runs sweet shall i leave it or take it out?

Finally whats the general rule with silencers the longer they are more top end orientated power? thanks

Thanks for the help in advance

Dhyllan
