Default Installing Rekluse tonight.... have some questions.

just getting started on my install. I have a 2013 XC 300. Installing a Rekluse exp 2.0.

I just need to confirm how many steals and fibers I need to put in this clutch.I thought the instructions would give me specifics for the gasgas, but it doesn't.

Thanks in advance, and wish me luck. I've never done anything like this before!

You'll do fine.

I think you'll be down one fiber and steel.

The EXP disk will be half-way deep into the basket fingers. Looks weird, but that's what it calls for.

how in the world do you get the nut torque to 60 foot pounds? Back tire spins, even applying back brake back wheel spins

Basket holding tool, or a rattle run to there abouts. Basket bolt has the locwasher + blue loctite. Not much chance of it coming undone.

Here are some ideas to hold the basket while you torque the nut:

I've never used Loctite on mine. Just the lock washer thing.

For keeping the wheel from spinning just drop a screw driver between the chain and sprocket.

Clutch is in, free play is set, break in procedures are done. Clutch works! Will be riding on Friday, so that's when I'll really be able to tell how well it works.

I am astonished at how easy it was to do.

Lol!

So now I am installing tubliss... harder and more time consuming than the Rekluse! I've got the first one on. The front. Not sealing. Going to get some slime and trey to seal the beads .
