Default !!! Help with Base gasket thickness !!!

Hi, I have a 2001 XC300- I'm in trouble because I can't find the gasket that was
in the bike when I took it apart. I didn't know that Gasser's had varying base gasket thicknesses. Is there a way to measure to find the correct size or am I stuck?

Thanks, Tim

The base gaskets are discussed here:
http://www.gasgasrider.org/html/measuring_squish.html
You can measure the squish and also check port timing if needed.
