I'm not that up on tides and stuff. What's the average tide rise 2-3 meters? Or is it something like Nova Scotia where you can get over 15 m.

This is on a small island of the south coast of Iceland where I live, Vestmannaeyjar, it's kind of allowed (I think)

I wouldn't mind going to Iceland to ride but I couldn't leave until I watched some F1 hill climbing. Those guys are nuts!

I was riding on the south part of the island in a little bay there, maybe 2km away, no place on the island is far from the airport:-) Here is a little wiki on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vestmannaeyjar
