1/ full gasket set
2/ top end gasket set
3/piston kit
4/little end
5/big end
5/connrod kit
6/kick start (bearing bits gone in the kicker)

Gav

I rebuilt my '06 EC 200 a few weeks back. My advice would be to not mess around trying to fit parts from other bikes - it may be worthwhile in other countries because of exchange rates and import taxes, but is pointless in the uk because GG parts are some of the cheapest around.

I buy parts from Biketech UK or Steve Plain Motorcycles.

My parts bill came to around ?470 for full gasket set, piston kit, l. end, mains and new oil seals all round.

You are quite right that there isn't much info. around on the ec 200. There seem to be a lot of variations between the years, different main crank bearings and even a wierd crank that showed up on a recent thread on here. Another unknown seems to be the squish. I set mine up at 1.2 mm, and it runs good, but is very sensitive to air temp. on the pilot circuit.

On top of the normal tools for splitting a 2t engine, if you have one with a roller bearing on the ignition side of the crank (like the 250/300), use of a good quality knife edged puller is required to get the inner race off,.

Fairly sure a CR250 rod works, bearings should be off the shelf items, as are most of the seals.
Kickstart lever is off a YZ250, not sure about any of the other kickstart bits though.

Default same company

eh up gav

wher thi from in't bloody yorkshire??

Just so you are aware trialendurodirect & gasgas uk is run from the same place I only found out after ordering parts from GG uk to pay ?4.50 postage and then called trialendurodirect the next day to order a anodised gear lever only to get through to GG uk and have to pay another ?4.50

whether you order a washer or a cylinder the postage price is the same which kinda stinks,
