Default Texas riding

Looking into getting a job in the oil fields. How is the riding in the pan handle? I saw Pampa listed as an area needing workers.

i live in amarillo.. about 60 miles from pampa.. there are some small areas around pampa to ride.. lake mclellan is the main one, i have not been there in
years..
we normally ride at lake mackenzie which is by tulia tx.. it is a great riding area.. about 40 miles of mapped trails and about 40 more single track we are making.. the lake is going dry, so they are just happy we come..

the canadian river here is getting bad.. alot of regulations..

there is a lease that is by caprock canyon state park that is huge.. it is limited to members and about 500 i think a year for a family.. they held an enduro there last weekend.. pretty good riding also..

i am sure there are more.. around pampa.. be glad to show you around if you do..

I used to live in Borger about 50 miles north of Amarillo. Rode Canadian river a lot then (almost 10 years ago now). One thing that I really liked about living in the panhandle was that I could get to some other pretty cool places for a long weekend (Sante fe, cloudcroft, Colorado Springs, denver, etc). I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
