Our club has two back packs made up to carry chainsaws. They took an old kelty framed pack, removed the pack, and then fashion a carrier to drop the saw and a few other tools into. Works pretty slick. get hold of an old framed back pack and work something up. Then anyone can carry the tools, the bike isn't an issue.
