Need help with EC 300 setup
I am a 225 lb. rider and just purchased and '04 EC 300. It had a 5.0 rear shock spring and I just replaced it with a 5.4.
Does anyone know how to set the shock preload correctly for my weight and riding conditions? I am not a racer, just ride for fun. Most of my riding is typical enduro-style riding in hilly, sandy, sometimes rocky and tight woods terrain in north Texas. Also, any help you can give with rebound and compression settings for both the forks and rear shock will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
