I'm certainly not Corey but- based on his posts and my conversations with him I'd say 36mm in the case you asked about. It appears that size to size match works best for the 'average rider' and 'taper bores' are more for special motors, riders or track situations.
As far as GG goes we all know they do well with either 36mm or 38mm on the PWK but have to be jetted differently for each size....
I'm sure he'll nullify or verify this info but he does seem to have his hands full lately. This technology has definitely stirred huge interest.

Thanks Fred, I was reading the thread over and the thread going on in the other place and I believe you are correct. This product looks really cool...on the fence as to whether i fork over the dough for the billet or just wait for the cast version. We are into winter riding here so i probably wait for the cheaper version in the spring...lets hope for no production delays!

Cheers.

The 38mm straight bore should add torque over what a Keihin 36mm does. In a previous post he stated even the 38/40mm taper bore does. I don't think GGs need a 36mm carb to make good torque if all else is set up right, at least its been my experience with the 250s, so the 38mm straight bore makes the most sense and what he recommended.
