Default 2013 300r spark problems

Went riding yesterday started up and ran fine for about 2 miles and blahh just died. We figured it fouled the plug but when we put a new one in still no spark.
After about 10 more minutes and pushing back toward the truck Tryed it again and if fired up and rode all the way back to truck turned it of at the truck and when I went to recrank no fire. So I disconnected the kill switch and it fired right up so naturally thought that was my problem and got back on the trail, 3 miles in it died again. Intermittent spark problem any suggestions? I hate to buy a CDI if the coil is bad and vise versa. Any hints on how to trouble shoot or any simalar storys with a 2013?

Is it an estart or kick only? Just a quick background I have a fuse on mine that will work loose a little under the seat sometimes. When this happens the estart won't crank at all and the bike won't fire when kicking.

Not sure about the 13s but check and see if those are loose before going crazy. Sometimes it's the simple things, just my 2 cents.

I was having a little trouble myself. Would only run in the mid to WOT and died as it fell to idle. Thought it was my carburetor and cleaning skills. Turns out that the kill switch had rubbed bare UNDER the gas tank against the frame rail. Intermittent spark failure, but the bike could overcome the ground out when running in higher RPM range. Pretty frustrating. Cleaned up the electrical fault and my baby is back. Good luck!
