Default ec250 2003 compression test readings

Hi everybody. My first steps here... I did a quick search but...

I took the motor compression on my gasgas ec250 2003.Motor was cold, throttle WOT, and engine stop switch pushed. 5 kicks.

I got 170psi (cold) (twice)

Compressions tests do not tell the whole story but just wondering what you guys think and what are the service limit values.

Thanks a lot

I got a little spare time today and trying to find something to do on the bike haha

phil.

Kick it fast until the gauge reading stops climbing, maybe more than 5 kicks. Depending on how the squish is set up and the hours on the motor, as well as the gauge itself, 170 may not be bad. 195 - 200 is about tops for pump gas.
