Default KYB swap which triple clamp?

Just took delivery of some 2010 yz250 KYB SSS. Measuring them compared to my gasgas,

Ec300
Top 54mm
Bottom 57mm

KYB SSS
Top 56mm
Bottom 59mm

So which triple clamps are people using for these? Looks to me like they each need 2mm from top and bottom... I know the yz clamps can fit with new bearings, but what gasgas triples are best?

I had my GG clamps machined, that way I can use the stock fender, headlight mounts and steering stop.

The YZ ones look a little mass produced but work well with blocks for stops welded to them. I painted black. Front guard I just redrilled. Headlight, well it just straps on on my 7.

I've ordered 2009 which are a little prettier. Do you know what size/part number bearings to order?

So you had 2mm machine from each? Aren't they a bit thin?

So far after a couple years I've had no problems, Have another set of GG clamps and a set of Yamaha clamps if I do.

I've had a look on all 16 threads you've started and nothing there, will search deeper!

Edit - found, you openly admitted to hijacking the thread! http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/sho...earings&page=7

I use the original gasgas tripple clamps. I machined the clamping diameter and it works fine since about 200 hours. I am doing not only woods ridding, I am also on the motocross track with my gasser

Too late .

2010 forks fit 2009 yokes anyway. I read somewhere that they'd changed the upper diameter on the forks but haven't found the problem..
