One thrid of that river crossing looks more like floating around.

Those bikes look like Ural or smth similar, it's amazing the engines kept running in such deep water.

That's nuts - how is that even possible? There couldn't have been much (any?) air getting to the motor.

I think I would have kept riding until I found a bridge, or just turned tail...LOL.

The carb has to feed into the sidecar ? There is no way other than that .

You are correct, the sidecar functions as a dry box. Notice they have the sidecar top covered to keep the water out.
