Default 2012 ohlins shock springs

Hi all

Do the springs off any other bikes fit the 2012 ohlins shock , not ttx , or is the spring specific to that shock , I'm looking for a 5.4 as iv had my forks upgraded to 4.6 .

Regards
Chris

Others are close but you're best off with the Ohlins.

What do you have right now(spring rate)? I'll have a look and see I have one ttx and one 888 but not sure which spring rates they are. Steve is right though best to go with an ohlins for perfect fit.

I'd probably look at going at a 5.6 rate spring Diggs with the .46 fork. Run a little less preload and happy days. I've used 5.2, 5.4 and 5.6.

Cheers jake , I was thinking that too but looking back at Glenn's set up he said the 5.6 was a bit too much with the 4.6 fork springs

There were some linkage changes in 2012 so maybe the chasis does require a softer spring. From memory I thought most of Glenns findings were reporting that the 48mm CC Zokes required much less spring than the 45mm OCs, and that the back end was quite similar.
