would forks from a 2004 ec 250 work on my 2010 ec 250?

Look at the thread on "fork swap", I think you will find the info you need. I think there was mention of some swapping the forks on an 04-05 and the measurements were given.

Yes and no. You have Sachs clamps, which are a larger OD on the lower than the Zokes on an '04. You could do it with shims but why? You have a golden opportunity to improve things dramatically, go for it.
