Clutch free play

Hi all. So recently installed a new clutch kit on the bike. She's running lovely now. But after some hard technical climbs where the clutch is being used to moderate power output the free play in the clutch lever increases drastically sometimes even into the bar. After about a minute it goes back to normal. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Sounds like air in the clutch hose.

Probably needs to be blead.

I thought that so I took the top cap off. Removed the slave cylinder from the bike. Pushed the piston out and back in a few times. And no air rose to the top. I will try a full bleed tho
